Gardens
Jacky Winter Gardens is a private guesthouse and creative retreat, hidden amidst a half-acre of secluded bushland within the high hills of Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges.
The front of the house nestled in the trees.
We’ve carved a space through the trees to encourage innovation and tranquillity; an immersive sanctum to work, create or merely exist whilst comfortable, quiet and undisturbed.
The house services visitors to the hills with secluded luxury accommodation, showcasing an eclectic curation of cherished work, produced by The Jacky Winter Group’s own world-renowned flock. Admire custom-made glasswork, wallpaper and framed prints, and while away the hours becoming acquainted with new artists — or re-igniting flames with those you may already know and love.

The Library
Located just 45-minutes from Melbourne by car, and only a short train ride away from Melbourne’s Flinders Street Station, the guesthouse is conveniently situated within walking distance from Belgrave’s centre — venture into town as you please, perhaps for a screening at the Cameo Cinemas.
Whether you’re yearning for the great outdoors or inclined to comfort, a stay at Jacky Winter Gardens allows for the convenience of both.
Embark on a hike through the national park, or appreciate the surrounding bushland from the warmth of our renowned soaking bath. Evenings are well spent with a roaring fire, either in-front of a Netflix film or rifling through our library, well stocked with graphic novels and literary fiction. From jigsaw puzzles to vintage board games, the guesthouse is equipped to keep you entertained.

Jacky Winter Gardens is owned and run by Jeremy Wortsman and Lorelei Vashti. Lorelei is a freelance writer and editor, and Jeremy is the director of The Jacky Winter Group. They have lived together in the Dandenong Ranges since 2012.
The Jacky Winter Group has been instrumental in defining the contemporary commercial art landscape since 2007. With a distinct presence in the US and the UK, we’re grounded in Melbourne by a commitment to support, and distribute the work of our esteemed artists. Jacky Winter Places span across Victoria, from the streets of Collingwood — Lamington Drive — to the hills of the Dandenongs — Jacky Winter Gardens — and now the shores of Walkerville — Jacky Winter Waters. With over 100 artists on our books, we’re committed to carving out new ways for the world to engage with their work.
We built Jacky Winter Gardens as a nest — warm, nourishing and sheltered by trees. The house is both a canvas to celebrate and showcase the work of our very own, and a sanctuary offering nurture and support to other professional artists. Through our monthly residency program, we aim to provide an opportunity for exciting new work to take flight.
